Getting to Know the Owner - Kenzie Smith

I’m so excited to share a little bit more about myself and my business with all of you. One of my favorite parts of running a small business is getting to connect with my customers, so please feel free to comment and tell me more about you too!

I am Kenzie Smith, the designer and owner of Orange Street Paper Co. I have two little boys who are my world! Boston is 5 and Jack is 2. They make life so full of joy and little bit of chaos!

My husband and I met in sunny California about 7 yrs ago. It was a ‘love at first sight’ kind of story. I knew he was the one pretty quickly. He is the one that has always pushed me towards my dreams and helps me make them a reality. He is fearless and I couldn’t run this business without him.

Growing up, I always always loved art. My first love was designing clothes, I would dream up beautiful gowns all day long! I then loved Interior Design and wanted to do that as a profession. I loved photography and worked with a photography studio for a few years. I got into calligraphy and loved it! It was so therapeutic for me. I felt like I was searching for my perfect way to express myself. It wasn’t until after I met Brent that I found Graphic Design and I felt like everything clicked. I still love all of these things and I grab a lot of inspiration for my designs through these different avenues.

Orange Street Paper Co. has been a way for me to pull from all my loves to create something I’m really proud of. I have always had a thing for pretty notebooks and matching stationery and beautifully wrapped gifts. I am so happy I get to share all these things with you!
